Vista-Suite Enterprise can establish direct connections to ODBC-compliant data sources stored on internal servers or network drives. This includes spreadsheets, Access databases, legacy systems, and other structured datasets. When configured, the system can read the data directly without requiring file uploads or duplicate data entry.

Each connection supports up to 24 independent queries, and each query can be configured with up to seven input parameters for advanced filtering and data targeting using standard SQL. This gives users flexibility and precision in how external data is retrieved and displayed. Reusable, pre-built queries can help approved users work with technical datasets in a more consistent way.

The embedded query results can be displayed within core Vista-Suite Enterprise modules, such as Part Master and Company History, preserving context and continuity in your workflow. External data becomes easier to reference inside the ERP interface, reducing the need to switch between tabs or copy and paste between programs.

In addition to screen-specific displays, users can access a dedicated interface to manually run approved queries across configured data connections. This provides on-demand access to external data that is not tied to a specific ERP record, supporting exploratory research and better decision support across departments.
